The BBC have a cracking competition, inspired by the world cup.  It is simple enough, have a great idea that is not already on the market.  They would like budding gamers, to create a unique game. The winning game will be created in flash and put online on Blast and the Sport Academy sections of the BBC's web site.

You may wish to mix football with fashion, music, food even dance if you like.  Just as long as its simple and fresh.  With the game being around 5-10 minutes in length.  What is great about the competition is that no technical skills are required.

Peter Molyneux and Alan Shear will be judging the competition.
With a copy of The Movies up for grabs, and an insight into the gaming industry, well worth entering.  If you are between 13 and 19 years old entries must be in before the 31st of March 2006
