Feeling nostalgic, I stumbled across this site dedicated to Ralph Baer, the inventor of the video game.  Sir I salute you.

If you are from my generation then you may remember pong, the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, I could go on....
There were many sleepless nights, listening to the screeching sounds of the tape loading the game. Being classics now course,  I was having a conversation with a friend of mine.

Trying to fathom what further creations, and innovations are to come from the next generation consoles. The birth of the video game was around 1962, give or take, I thought that the Nintendo Revolution.  Being the most innovative console of the the three next generation consoles. With the clever controller that can act like a wand, a sword, a gun.  It appears that the Revolution may not have the draw dropping graphics of the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360.

But they have correctly targeted the kid in you, check out the Revolution movie trailer here, and tell me doesn't this not bring the child out in you.  It did for me.  As mother would say "wipe your feet get out of those dirty clothes and get into the bath".
